What our customers say

Drainage Blast engineer at work
Meet the team

You speak to the people doing the job

A real person answers, takes your postcode and gets an engineer out as soon as possible. No call centre, no script, just a direct line to the team clearing the blockage.

Tried a plunger, rods or a bottle of drain chemicals and it is still not clearing? That is when most people call us. Our engineers turn up with high-pressure jetting, rodding sets and CCTV on the van, so the majority of blocked sinks, toilets and outside drains are sorted on the first visit.

The jobs we get called out to

The blockages our customers ring about every day

Blocked kitchen sink

Sink filling up and draining away slowly, usually cooking fat or food waste setting hard in the waste pipe. Jetted clear and tested before we leave.

Blocked toilet or WC

Toilet not flushing away, water rising in the pan, or the upstairs loo backing up into the downstairs one. We clear it and check the run is flowing properly.

Outside drain or manhole

Water rising in the drain by the back door or sewage close to coming into the conservatory. These get treated as emergencies and prioritised.

Soil stacks & shared pipes

Stack pipes, shared runs in flats and blockages between the kitchen and the bathroom above. We work with landlords, tenants and managing agents.

When chemicals have not worked

Plungers, rods and shop-bought drain chemicals only go so far. High-pressure jetting cuts through grease and silt that will not shift.

Price before we start

Ask on the phone and we will give you the price for the unblock up front, so you know what you are paying before the cover comes off.

FAQ

What callers usually ask us

How much do you charge to unblock a drain?+

Tell us what is blocked - sink, toilet, outside drain or stack pipe - and we will give you the price on the phone before we book anything in. What we quote is what you pay for that unblock.

Can you come out today?+

Yes. Give us your postcode and house number and we will tell you the earliest window we can get an engineer to you. Overflowing drains and sewage risks are prioritised.

Why does my downstairs toilet flood when I flush upstairs?+

That usually means the soil stack or the run out to the manhole is blocked, not the toilet itself. It needs rodding or jetting from the drain, which is exactly the sort of job we attend daily.

I have already tried chemicals and a plunger - can you still help?+

Yes, and most of our customers have. Shop-bought chemicals rarely shift set grease, wipes or silt. High-pressure jetting cuts straight through it.

The water is rising out of the manhole in my garden - what do I do?+

Stop running taps, washing machines and toilets, then call us straight away. That is an emergency and we will get someone to you as quickly as possible before it reaches the house.

Do you clean up afterwards?+

We do. The engineer flushes the drain through, checks it is running freely and washes down the area before leaving.

Can I get an invoice or report for the work?+

Yes - ask the engineer or ring the office and we will send an invoice, and a CCTV report where a survey was carried out. Useful for landlords and insurance claims.

Don't wait for it to overflow
